The festival's vision is to create an online platform for the rural Limpopo/Venda artists to s h o w c a s e    authentic African artistic works.

Call For Entry: Poets & Storytellers 2022


 

VENDA VIRTUAL ARTS FESTIVAL (VVAF) is inviting upcoming poets and storytellers for an opportunity to be featured on the inaugural festival. To enter, the artist must send a 3 minute video to 066 5690 927 showcasing their art form. The closing date for entry is 15 October 2022.

VVAF’s aim is to celebrate, preserve and protect our culture and heritage through creation of diverse works by artists. VVAF is working together with communities to achieve the objective of promoting the participation in and appreciation of the arts in our own neighbourhoods.

Providing performance and expression platform to rural artists, especially groups/individuals who have never recorded/performed/showcased professionally before

The festival will enable empower artists with Industry knowledge through the information sharing sessions

The festival will give the viewer an insight into our diverse local music, poetry and storytelling scene over different generations of artists.

The king of VenDanceHall will mesmerize fans this coming Saturday (12/03/2022) at the Catch-A-Fire Soweto Reggae Festival.


The festival has a massive line up which includes Nkulee Dube, Reign Africa, Skeleton Blazer and Luwe Da Lion.
