Celebrating Reggae Month 2024 : South African Reggae

The Jamaican government officially declared February as reggae month in 2008. February is also Black History Month, and Bob Marley and Dennis Brown were born in February. Reggae Month will be observed from 1 to 29 February 2024  under the theme, ‘Come ketch di Riddim’.

The South African Live scene is well represented by the legendary Dr Colbert Mukwevho & Family band, who continues to perform and release new music.
