JAH SOLDIER TO HEADLINE THE INITY REGGAE FEST
The Vhembe based award-winning artist Tendani Maiwashe, better known as Jah Soldier will headline the Germiston Inity Reggae Fest to be held on 28 September 2024 at the Gemiston River Road Park. The festival is held under the theme of UNITY and aims to bring diverse people together through live music, that not only brings joy and excitement, but also promotes healing, reconciliation, and tolerance to communities.
Jah Soldier urged his followers to come in numbers as he will be performing some of his best songs which are fans’ favorites. “Come in your numbers to witness an unforgettable experience. We’re busy with the band rehearsing and everyone is looking forward to an exciting show in Germiston.”
Jah Soldier, who was born and bred in Mbilwi-Makanga village near Sibasa has released Four(4) albums, “Thavha ndi nngana” (2006), “Innocent Siblings” (2010), “Nndededze” (2014) and “Ndi A Livhuwa” (2017). His album, Nndededze won a TSHIMA award for the best Tshivenda reggae artist in 2015 and was also nominated for a SATMA award in the same year.
Other local artists to perform at the Gemiston Inity Reggae Fest on 28 September 2024 are Sivhara Mulaudzi, Lufuno Munzhelele, Pepsin, and Chillyman.
